Cancellation & Refund

At Cap Cana Yacht Charters, every reservation is carefully coordinated in advance to ensure your selected vessel, captain and crew are exclusively reserved for your experience.

Reservation Deposit

A 40% deposit is required to confirm and secure your reservation. Your selected vessel and date are considered confirmed once the deposit has been received.

Guest Cancellations

The 40% reservation deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation by the guest, as the vessel, captain and crew have been reserved specifically for your charter.

If the remaining balance has already been paid prior to the charter date, any amount paid above the 40% deposit will be refunded.

Weather & Safety Cancellations

Your safety is our priority. If the captain or charter operator determines that weather or sea conditions are unsafe, the charter may be postponed or cancelled.

In this situation, guests may reschedule their charter to another available date at no additional charge. If rescheduling is not possible, the amount paid will be fully refunded.

Weather-related cancellations are determined by the captain or charter operator based on actual sea and safety conditions. Rain forecasts, cloudy weather or brief tropical showers alone do not automatically qualify as unsafe conditions or grounds for cancellation.

No-Shows & Late Arrivals

No-shows are non-refundable.

Late arrival does not extend the originally scheduled charter time. Any extension is subject to vessel availability and crew approval and may result in additional charges.

Reservation Changes

Requests to change the date, vessel, departure time or other reservation details are subject to availability. Any applicable price difference will be the responsibility of the guest.

Payment Terms

40% deposit — Required to secure the reservation
60% balance — Due on the departure date

Once the 40% deposit is received, the selected vessel and date are officially reserved.
